![]() ![]() I have no music library and no photos, and as mentioned, all other (visible) documents and files in iCloud folder are already synced. Yet, the nsurlsessiond process has used several gigabytes of data. When i click the little syncing icon next to the iCloud folder in finder, it reports that 6,60 gb of 7,27 has ben downloaded. ![]() All other files synced with iCloud have been re-downloaded and are now available locally, and only the reference library file has the cloud symbol. The file is a 5,5 GB Sente library package file. And i am on fieldwork in a less developed country (infrastructurally speaking), meaning this has been, so far, a 60+ hour process costing me hundreds of dollars in excess quota fees. I immediately set out to re-download the file, so that i can turn off the ****-spawned Documents folder sync as soon as possible. I had 20GB left on my Macbook Air, and my reference manager was running with my library open when iCloud deleted the library file, causing a crash of course. iCloud syncing of Documents folder supposedly deletes "old and large files" when there is a shortage of local storage. ![]() ICloud decided it was a good idea to delete the local copy of my entire reference library a few weeks before submitting my dissertation.
